A vision to enable the Plan for Pitt
The Horizon is designed to serve as a strategic roadmap for utilizing technology to advance the University’s Plan for Pitt. Through it, Pitt IT will shape the University’s digital future and enable Pitt students, faculty, and staff to achieve their goals.
The Horizon plan focuses on four key pillars:

The Horizon provides the agility needed to meet looming challenges and seize new opportunities in uncertain times. Rising educational costs and a shifting policy landscape require that Pitt IT continuously becomes more effective, efficient, and innovative. The Horizon positions the University for success.
