Center for Sustainable Business to hold Sustainability Camp

The Center for Sustainable Business will hold a Sustainability Camp on Aug. 10 on cutting-edge research with real-world implications for accelerating sustainable business practices.

The event is open to all faculty, staff and students. In person space is limited in Room 118, Mervis Hall, but remote access will be available for anyone interested. Register here. The program runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a reception in the Founders Room of the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History.

The lunchtime keynote will be on “Stakeholder Capitalism and the Challenges of Sustainability,” with R. Edward Freeman, University of Virginia professor of business administration.

Other topics include the Current State of Sustainable Finance, Mechanisms for Scaling Sustainability and Corporate Interventions for Sustainability
