Sale yields $5,000 for
GSPH scholarship fund
The Graduate School of Pubic Health’s winter fundraiser benefiting the Evelyn H. Wei Scholarship Award in Epidemiology held Dec. 3 drew 275 people and raised $5,008.
The scholarship fund was established in memory of Wei, a Pitt researcher and GSPH alumna, who was killed by a vehicle in 2004 near her Regent Square home.
Since December 2004, the fund has raised a total of $45,199.
