UPG staff member honored
Pitt-Greensburg staff member Sheila E. Confer, Academic Village coordinator and MAP-Works coordinator, recently was named winner of the President’s Distinguished Service Award for Staff for extraordinary dedication to the University above and beyond her job responsibilities.
Confer has worked for Pitt-Greensburg for 12 years. In She also is a part-time instructor in theatre arts.
In announcing the award, UPG President Sharon P. Smith said Confer stood out because of her commitment to a large variety of activities and initiatives and the success of the programs she oversees.
