A memorial service will be held Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. in Frick Fine Arts auditorium for former Pitt history professor David Montgomery, who died Dec. 2, 2011, at age 84.

Montgomery, an internationally known labor historian, served on the Pitt faculty 1963-79. He was chair of the department 1973-76.
