UPT adds associate degree programs

Clock titusvilleFall will bring some academic changes to Pitt-Titusville.

The campus will introduce associate degree programs in biological sciences, computer technology, psychology, criminal justice and history.

“These newly approved associate degree majors are part of an ongoing comprehensive revision of existing academic offerings at Pitt-Titusville,” said President Livingston Alexander. “Additional majors that prepare graduates for entry-level careers in health care and oil and gas industries will soon be added to the registry of program offerings at Pitt-Titusville.”

Also coming this fall are changes to Titusville’s general education requirements, prompted by UPT’s offering of associate degrees and its administrative realignment with Pitt-Bradford, according to David Fitz, interim campus dean.

UPT’s general education requirements will be aligned with those of UPB, he said.
