Pitt Innovation Challenge seeks bold solutions to challenging health problems

Applications for the Pitt Innovation Challenge (PInCh) 2022 can be submitted through May 2.

PinCH is a problem-focused funding program supported by the University of Pittsburgh’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute designed to accelerate bold ideas that impact health.

We encourage proposals from any discipline and on any topic that impacts health from disease prevention and treatment to provider tools and community programs. This year, we are providing bonus awards to solutions that involve collaborations between faculty in the Swanson School of Engineering and Schools of Health Sciences. This collaboration is not required of PInCh applicants but eligible teams will receive larger awards.

A total of $555,000 is available, with one-year awards ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. In addition, each winning team will receive project management support from CTSI to help them move from idea to impact.

Applications are due May 2. Visit www.pinch.pitt.edu for more information and to apply.
