More than 300 poster presenters and guests from across the University enjoyed an evening of research and hors 'd'oeuvres at the 16th Postdoctoral Data and Dine Symposium on May 24, at Alumni Hall in the Connolly Ballroom.

Hosted annually by the University of Pittsburgh Postdoctoral Association and the Office of Academic Career Development, Data and Dine is an opportunity for postdoctoral fellows from the entire University to present their research, as well as to network and build connections with Pitt faculty and administrators. This year’s event was the largest in its history, with almost 150 posters in five different categories.

Poster awards were presented to Oluwaseun Akinyele, Gowtham Annarapu, Bruna Bellaver, Tao Chen, Mariarosaria De Rosa, Safaa Eldeeb, Lacey Heinsberg, Aleksander Jovanovic, Tumader Khouja, Rachael Rush, Mairobys Socorro and Madison Stellfox.

Three special awards were presented:

Postdoctoral Alumni Award: David Gau, Department of Bioengineering.
