Pitt instructors looking to add more information about sustainability to their classroom discussions or who have a student interested in sustainability can reach out to the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation.
The center’s Sustainability Toolkit provides resources about the many opportunities at Pitt for sustainability themed academic programs, service projects, advocacy and more.
One resource is a trained group of student sustainability leaders available to talk to a classroom about sustainability at Pitt. The 15-minute presentation introduces students to the range of topics including sustainability in academics, student organizations, community service and campus initiatives.
While it is intended to introduce first-year students to sustainability at Pitt, this presentation can be adapted to upperclassmen and graduate students. The presentation can be delivered in the classroom or virtually.
If you are interested in having a presentation in one of your classes, please complete the interest form here and a member of Mascaro Center team will be in touch to schedule.
