Applications for Staff Council’s Frisch Staff Professional Development Award are due by April 26.

The award named after Ronald Frisch, a former head of human resources, is designed to defray the costs of approved professional development opportunities that directly contribute to the staff member’s career advancement and professional growth within Pitt.

Recipients of the award must use it within one year of receiving it.

Applicants must be benefits-eligible, non-union, part-time, or full-time professional employees across any of Pitt’s campuses who have maintained continuous employment with Pitt for at least one year and must secure supervisor approval as part of their application process.
