The Office of Human Resources has a new resource page dedicated to informing employees about their potential eligibility for the federal government's Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, and how to apply if you're eligible.

Pitt is considered a public employer, which may entitle eligible employees to have your remaining federal student loan debt forgiven tax-free through the federal program.

You can access the program at no cost through Pitt’s student loan assistance partner Savi, which can help you navigate the program, as well as provide information about additional student loan repayment options for you and your family members.

The new resource page also includes instructions on applying directly for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, if desired.
