PInCh applications due by May 12

Applications are due May 12 for the Pitt Innovation Challenge (PInCh), which is celebrating 10 years of helping fund bold solutions to challenging health problems.

Proposals are welcome from any discipline, topic or idea that impacts health — whether it’s a new device, groundbreaking therapeutic, preventative clinical intervention, or transformative community program.

Up to $555,000 in total is available, with one-year project awards of up to $100,000 (minimum $35,000). Each winning team also will receive project management support from Pitt’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute to help execute a 12-month project. For the project’s 10th year, it is also offering bonus awards to anyone who engages with the Makerspaces at the Pitt Swanson School of Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship program.
