HR is looking for input on how to improve wellness offerings

The Office of Human Resources wants to know how it can improve Pitt’s Wellness for Life employee health and wellness offerings, and has launched a survey for all University faculty and staff with UPMC health coverage.

Some of the questions include:

  • How can the University better support employees overall mental health?

  • What services would you like to have available at the onsite MyHealth@Work clinic that are not currently offered?

  • Are you aware that doing activities in the Wellness for Life program allows you to earn Health Incentive Reward Dollars which can be used toward offsetting the cost of copayments, deductibles, coinsurance, etc. through your University-sponsored medical plan?

  • What types of wellness activities would you like to see added to be eligible to earn Health Incentive Reward Dollars?

  • As of July 1, 2022, the University allows Health Incentive Reward Dollars to be used for purchasing over-the-counter items. Have you used your Health Incentive Reward Dollars for this expanded use?

  • If you are a tobacco user and are ready to quit, would you be interested in attending a no cost virtual six-week (one session per week) tobacco cessation group class?

The survey is anonymous and will be available until 5 p.m. April 2.
